There are plenty of places in Sokcho to open a laptop for an hour. Finding a place where a working day can become part of the city is harder. HINOMAD LAB is HINOMAD's answer: an offline coworking space in the old downtown, made by the nomad community that chose Sokcho as its base.
HINOMAD LAB soft-opened on 18 September 2026. You can come to focus on your own work. If you want company, you can also meet people who live, work, and build things here. That is the intention behind the space; who you meet on a given day will depend on who is there. We operate HINOMAD LAB, so this is a first-party introduction.
A desk with a reason to stay
The idea grew from the Sokcho Sprint, when remote workers and Sokcho locals spent six days living and working together. The memorable part was the unplanned time between sessions: working near someone, sharing a meal, recognizing a familiar face the next morning. HINOMAD LAB gives that kind of day a repeatable address.
The space is on the second floor at the entrance to Rodeo Street. From here you can step out into the market and older downtown streets, then return to your work. The spot page has the map, current venue details, and pass information.

Hours and offers may change, particularly on holidays. Check the owner-managed Naver Place listing or @hinomad before setting out. A listed pass price does not mean you need to buy one during the free soft-opening period; ask the venue about current access and 30-day terms.
