Artist Hyom draws the Sokcho she grew up with into characters and hand-lettered goods: a mountain bear, a tiger imagined from Yeongnangho's Beombawi Rock, and birds from familiar local places. Her second-floor Saemaeul shop is full of postcards, magnets and stationery designed to be used long after the trip.

The shop is on the second floor beside Odaengdang; take care on the tall steps. There is no on-site parking, so use a nearby public or temporary lot. When Hyom is in, she hand-letters your name in Hangul on the bag with a purchase. Otherwise, prewritten 'Sokcho travel' bags are used.
